The agency
behind the door.
DOJO is a private real estate consultancy for clients who value architecture, discretion, and lasting quality over volume. We don't sell homes — we place people in spaces that resonate.

Our Story
Founded on the belief that real estate is a cultural act, not a transaction.
In 2014, architect Elena Moreau and financier James Whitfield left careers at leading firms to create something that didn't exist: a real estate consultancy with the curatorial rigour of a gallery and the discretion of a private bank.
They named it DOJO — a place of practice, discipline, and mastery. The founding idea was simple: exceptional properties deserve exceptional representation. Not louder marketing, but deeper understanding.
Today DOJO operates across four cities, advising a private roster of collectors, families, and institutions on acquisitions, dispositions, and legacy planning. Every engagement begins with listening — and most of our work never appears in public.
What Guides Us
Curated, Never Mass-Market
Every property in our portfolio is hand-selected. We decline more listings than we accept, because our clients trust us to surface only the exceptional.
Architecture as Identity
We believe a home is not shelter — it is self-expression. Our team includes practicing architects who evaluate spatial quality, light, and material integrity before any listing goes live.
Discretion Above All
Many of our transactions never appear in public records. We operate with the confidentiality of a private bank and the taste of a gallery director.
Long-Term Relationships
We do not chase closings. We build relationships across decades — advising on acquisitions, renovations, estate planning, and legacy properties.

We don't list properties.
We place people in homes that speak to who they are.
If that philosophy resonates, we'd welcome a conversation. Every relationship at DOJO begins the same way — with a cup of coffee and an honest exchange.
